Antithrombin III
AT III, syn. Heparin-Cofaktor;
Im Plasma normalerweise vorhandenes Glo-
bulin, das Thrombin und andere Gerinnungs-
faktoren inaktiviert und dadurch gerinnungshem-
mend wirkt; es verstärkt die Wirkung von Heparin.
Ein Mangel an AT III hat thromboembolische
Komplikationen zur Folge.
